It actually plays best with 5 or more. There are a few secret areas, sewers, Underwater, room over room, Tank, and most every weapon. Has a special sniper feature using teleporters which allow you to view and kill other players remotely while you hide like a worm in your little hole. The only monsters are rabbits and a few bees. A couple of bees appear in normal play but the rest of the bees and rabbits only appear in hard play. I love those pesky little bees! There seems to be a bug in the room over room feature that can cause a sector crash. It only shows up in the hole with the ladder. Sometimes when I save the game you can't throw sticky bombs or shoot grenades down the hole. The save I have included here seems fairly stable so far. If anyone knows what causes this and can fix it please let me know. This map is my first attempt at shadow maps and was mainly a learning excersize, however I think you will find it quite enjoyable. Note: The tough to get through spots and hard to find areas are completely on purpose. Credits : Keith Szabo, and Bob long for their feedback and help in testing the map. The rest of the gang from work for the many lunch hours of fun testing. Play Information Single player : Yes but not much fun once the five bees are killed. WangBang : Yes (3+ Players 5+ best) Cooperative : No Difficulty set : Yes minimal Base : New level from scratch, borrowed the tank features from the real game Build Time : Somewhere between 40-60 hours. Bugs : Spent a lot of time struggling with features that didn't seem to work as advertized. Anyone having trouble getting the camera (hitag 1000) to point in the direction they want? Could not get the door to match tag with the light so that the light would go off when the door closed. Thus the light goes on first time the door opens then off the next time the dorr opens etc. Found the interlocking tunnel had to be exactly the same x,y distance from one room over room entrance to the other. Couldn't get the Tank sound to work right. It would leave the hissing behind after repairing it and driving away. Some ambient sounds work intermittently for some strange reason. Shooting stuff down one of the room over room entrances causes the game to crash with a sector error. Seems to happen on some saves and then goes away for a while. I think I have it ok in the released save. Overall this build is much more stable than Duke's was. File Location : Wherever you find it. I will email it to you if you send me an email asking for it. Distribution : Feel free to use stuff in this map to help you build your own, but at least draw it yourself rather than just copying it.
