WAD: DM2MUSx.WAD (where the X is, put 1 - 3) AUTHOR: ANONYMOUS DATE MADE: 11-13-95; 5:11pm DESCRIPTION: Has 2 WADs that has different music for each level. The third wad replaces some music too, but only like five of them. I picked out all the songs that I knew and I also picked some songs that I like but never heard of them before (only like 5 of them). It has songs from Madonna and Micheal Jackson. It also has songs from this one group that my brother likes (and his girlfriend. That song is Level 1's music in the wad... DM2MUS1.WAD.) It has the song from Back to the Future, and some TV shows. It has a song from Forest Gump (the song at the beginning of the movie). It has the theme to Terminator 2. And there's LOTS MORE!!! Some of them are duplicates... I just went through all these WADs and MIDI files... I didn't really pay attention to what song I heard. But there are only like 5 duplicates. THERE'S A DOOM 1 VERSION OF THIS TOO!!! I MADE ONE FOR DOOM 1 AND 2. Doom1: DM1MUS.ZIP (For Ultimate Doom) Doom2: DM2MUS.ZIP I don't think I will make a WAD for DOOM 1 regular (not ULTIMATE). You still can run DM1MUS.ZIP in regular DOOM 1. You just won't hear the songs that are in Episode 4, Levels 1 - 9. Thanks to: ID - for the game!!! The people who made this MIDI/MUS/WAD files. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Levels: MAP01 - MAP32 Single: Take a guess. Coopertive: If you want to. Deathmatch: If you want to. Music: YES!!! That's what this WAD is for!! Sounds: No. GrafX: No. Progam's used: NWT (mostly), MIDI2MUS, ADE2 (to put the WADs together) Time it took: About 2-4 hours (including the time it took to look for the music, the time it took to convert the DOOM 1 songs to DOOM 2, the time it took to pick out the songs, the time it took to convert the DOOM 2 songs to DOOM 1 (for the DOOM 1 version), and the time to put the wads together. Oh, and the time to write this TXT file!) Bugs: Think about it. How can there be bugs in a MUSIC-ONLY WAD file. Authors MAY use this as a base to their WADs or whatever. I got these from other people, so that doesn't really give me a right to say that you can't. It's just like copy-righting a file that someone else made. Besides, how the hell am I suppose to watch about 1,000,000 people copying the songs. Author's MAY change any of the songs. That's the least I care. I don't really care. You can do whatever you want with it. Where you can get this: That's a pretty dumb question. You ALREADY have it!!! But if you deleted the WADs but kept this TXT and you want it back... I'll upload it to: ftp.cdrom.com It should be in the music directory. It most likely WILL. It'll probably be in a couple other FTP sites, but I think it'll take some time to get to the others. Anyway, have fun!!!
