StarDate: Sometime in '99 ====================================================================== From: : The CBDM Series (watch out for new ones, which will be out soon!) Additional credits : my girlfriend, for excusing my frequent lateness because I was finishing levels. thanx babe :) My dad, for not buying a new computer and therefore FORCING me to like Quake. Use the reapers, they kick ass Co-op : Not really much point. Team Fortress : Fraid not, too complex for me, that is. C-T-F : Call The Fuzz? Erm, no. Deathmatch : Indeed. The whole point of any of my levels New Bits : I may of nicked someone else's textures. My apologies, E-mail me and I'll recompile without them. * Construction * Base : None, 'cept the lovely blank screen of Worldcraft :) Editor Used : Worldcraft, of course. It's a man thing... Build time : Don't know or care.. Compile machine : (engage giggle mode..) P75 QBSP : Dunno Light (extra) : Probably ages Vis (full) : Dunno * Additional info * Description: This is the first map I made which I completed to my satisfaction. I'm releasing it now (way late) because I've only just got around to it. The map is basically half a house and half a castle, in a big box. There is 1 secretish bit in the level, and you'll of found it if you get the Lightening gun. The 'Power Room' in the house can be taken and held off easily, but if you find yourself being fought off when trying to get into it, seek an 'alternative' way into the room (it's obvious). If anyone has a good program for converting BSP's back into Map's then please gimme a map of this, because I lost it :( The map is not GL compatiable (wateralpha sucks up), but runs fast on it. Author info: Hmmm. Me? I've been into Quake since it came out and I make Deathmatch levels when I'm bored. That's about it really, exept to say I'm availiable to help make levels for anyone who needs me. If you e-mail me I'll give you my ICQ number too, if I can be bothered. Tips for other mappers: TIDY UP AFTER YOURSELF! Most quake level's suffer from over-complication, whereas if the shell of the level was simplified a bit, more architecture could be included with no real performance reduction. So there *Legal Crap* Disclaimer: This copy of this level and the stuff with it is your responsibility. if it messes up, it's you that messed it up. I am taking no responsibility for anything bad that happens that could be linked to this level. So go suck. You can use this as a base, as I will provide the map on request.
