5/23/97 ================================================================ Title : House of Confusion Filename : confused.bsp Author : Craig Redinger Email Address : car188@psu.edu Web Page : http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/4992/ Description : An EXPERIMENT (can't stress that enough) in making an "arena style" deathmatch that doesn't suck. Additional Credits to : Yahn Bernier for BSP, which looks more like AutoCAD with each sucessive release... ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Only to look around Cooperative : No Deathmatch : Yes! 2-16 players Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : BSP .74 beta Known Bugs : There is too much going on in the main room, and the framerate suffers in the far corners of the room. Some polymodels also disappear in the corners. Live and learn, I guess. Build Time : 30-40 hours over a 5 month period (college got in the way.) Texture Wad used : Quake101.wad Compile machine : Pentium 200 32megs ram QBSP Time : 3 minutes 49 seconds Light Time : 4 minutes 26 seconds VIS (-level 4) Time : 39 minutes 29 seconds Brushes : 720 Entities : 179 * Other Info * This is my second level, and not my best. Check out wizlair.zip. Several more maps are under way, including a couple dm levels and a single play experiment which isn't looking very promising. I'm also working on a new texture wad, look for it soon. It will be usable, unlike a lot of the garbage on cdrom.com. Check out http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/4992/ for new levels! * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
