They are some really cool fights going on in the swimming-pool-area and when running the steps you will learn to watch your back. :)) About the name : Quite simple, I really was wondering why nobody asked this before (thanks Ty:). Fourelev simply stands for "Four players, one Elevator with the rocketlauncher", because after hours of 4-Player-Games we discovered this is the essence of a great DM-Play. Simply play the level and you will feel this Idea all around. Additional Credits to : ID, off course, those guys changed my life. :)) Ben Morris for Worldcraft - even a starter like me can produce some really interesting stuff using it. Cooperative : No (Quake just wasnīt made for Co-op!) Deathmatch : Yup, especially designed with four players in mind. It also plays nice as a duel via modem. But donīt play with more than six players, this would only be a brainless fragfest. :)) More than eight arenīt possible at all, because theyre only 8 starting points. Difficulty Settings : ?? So you have to wait for one of my next levels to see the "Aquarium"- or the "Ladder"-effect. __________________________________________________________________ HINTS ------------------------------------------------------------------ First of all, learn the level. [g] Jump the windows and try to reach the RL early on. :)) __________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________ WHATS NEW IN VERSION 1.1 -------------------------------------- Well, after playing with a friend for a few hours I discovered that the teleport jumps were a bit tough to perform for a "normal-skilled" player. Especially when in a close fight you could easily forget to jump a second time to avoid falling down. Itīs much simpler now. Also there was one Arch wich was hide partially in the wall. --------------------------------------- THINGS TO COME --------------------------------------- Be prepared for INFECTION, my new single-player map wich will hit the net around christmas. It will be my first theme-bsp and will have new textures (by David Otwall), new monsters and some nice little tricks youīll probably never saw before. :)) ________________________________________________________________________________________ * Copyright / Permissions * This level is freely distributable, but please donīt use it as base for your level.
