Golus Stronghold by Bill Moller Quake Map version 1.0 6/9/97 Features of the Stronghold: 1. Retracting drawbridge 2. Laser Cannon (Manned cannon fires laser bolts through main archway) 3. Moat full 'o' Pirannah (If playing single player) 4. East and West Stables with manned spike trap that fires the length of the moat. 5. Keep (spotlit) 6. Dynamic Walls (will raise if a player is on or near them) (spotlit) 7. Cart (yay, something to dodge behind!) Features of the forest: 1. Nifty little "Giving" trees (w/ladders to goodies) 2. Metal projectile shields 3. More ammo and weapons than Stronghold Plans for next version: ~Set -threshold .001 (This will hopefully fix all the grey areas, but will take obnoxiously long to vis, not that it didn't already take obnoxiously long to vis...) ~Make locking door for Keep, and add Satan to forest ~Add Teamfortress & CTF functionality Map Build Stats: QBSP lasted 2 Minutes & 9 Seconds Light with extra sampling lasted 6 Minutes 44 Seconds Vis, "Best" option lasted 69 Hours & 29 Minutes Special Thanks to Armin Rigo, without whom QuArK would not exist.
