29/3/1999 ================================================================ Title : HayMaker Filename : wilburdm4.bsp Author : Andrew Humphreys Email Address : andrew@next.com.au Description : A large, open deathmatch arena with all the trimmings, good for 5-10 players, maybe more. Emphasis is on space and light and fast action. I've tried hard to keep the r_speeds below the magic 450-500 mark at all times but your old P 90 or 6100 might struggle on this one. ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Start point only Cooperative : No Deathmatch : Yes, 7 respawn spots Player load : 4-8 recommended. Should do more though (you might want to set it on deathmatch 3 if you're upping the players). Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No. Standard mix of Q1 and Q2 textures. * Construction * Base : New level, from scratch. Editor used : Quiver 1.1.2, ArghLite 2.0 for lighting Build Time : Who the hell can tell? * Shout Outs * - id Software for Quake - Scott Kevill for Quiver. QuakeFinder is pretty damn cool too:) -Tim Wright for ArghLite! -Connectix for Virtual PC 2.1 so I could actually use ArghLite (running a DOS command line under Windows 95 on a Mac is very surreal, but fun). - Mark Adams and Westlake Interactive for their tireless (and often thankless) devotion to the MacQuake community. - The Next Media bad boys for playtesting and suggestions: Dan Toose (Armand), Eliot Fish (Lord Seafood), Steve Scott (Mr Shiny), Darren Gover (Knutsach the Deströyer), Malcolm Campbell (Gundam), Ewan Corness (Hydrolic) - Joel Tallent (JVOX) for the Boomstick (www.planetquake.com/jvox), for testing and invaluable suggestions. - Mr Fribbles (http://www.gibbed.com/1on1/frib/) for encouragement and shit-cool maps. - Dave Vedder and all the guys at the MacQuake Omicron BotBlast site (http://www.quakeintosh.com/botblast). - Vedder again for Quakeintosh (http://www.quakeintosh.com/quakeitecture/). Thanks for the tips and thanks for putting me on to ArghLite. - Paul Healey at the excellent Multiplayer Quake site (www.planetquake.com/mpq) for encouragement, testing and a seriously cool site. *Level Designers I Like Who I've Probably Ripped Off* - Sten Uusvali. ztn maps are the mark of quality! (http://ztn.terrafusion.com) - Dennis "Headshot" Kaltwasser. See his maps and say, "Wow!" at http://headshot.terrafusion.com - Mr Fribbles (http://www.gibbed.com/1on1/frib/).
