================================================================ Title : 2 Pools by Fenix Filename : 2pool2.bsp Authors : Fenix with help from Zealus and Tect Email Address : fenix@mindinfo.com zealus@mindinfo.com Description : TeamFortress v2.1+ Quake Map ============= Note ============= This is only my second TF map so it may be a little buggy... Please report any bugs to me so that I can fix them. Also please feel free to give any thoughts on how to improve this map. ============= Thanks To============== Zealus and Tect for the idea and help with map design. Thanks to the members of the BLUE FLAME and DRAGON GODS clans for testing the map and giving me more ideas for the map. Additional Credits to : Ben Morris (autor of Worldcraft) Check out the TeamFortress homepage at: http://www.telefragged.com/teamfortress ================================================================ * Play Information * This map does not work properly without the TeamFortress v2.1 QuakeC patch, which can be downloaded from http://www.telefragged.com/teamfortress or from ftp.cdrom.com Single Player : Only if you want to check out the map in a non- hostile environment Cooperative : No Deathmatch (2-16) : Yes Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : Worldcraft v1.1 and v1.6 Known Bugs : None Build Time : 4+ hours Compile Time : Not long enough to mention. * Other Info * This is a two team capture-the-flag map. Each team has their own base, at opposite ends of the map. The objective is to infiltrate the enemy base, and capture the enemy flag which is in their basement. The flag must then be returned the team base, for 10 frags for the team and 15 for the capper. Also this map is VERY dark, VERY large, and VERY wet. I would strongly recomend allocating LOTS of memory using the "-winmem XX" command in the command line you use to run TF where XX is the amount of RAM in megs you want to use. Sample command line for TF: quake -game fortress -listen 16 -winmem 24 How to use this map: Copy the 2pool1.bsp file into your quake\fortress\maps directory. Then run quake. In the console, type "map 2pool1" (without the quotes) Mail me if you like, and tell me what you think, or if you have any ideas of you own and couldn't be bothered to build them. fenix@mindinfo.com
