Other works by author: Quake 1 - dokkur.bsp (Cold Halls), dokkur2.bsp (Mossy Stones) * Credits * - id Software for Quake & Quake II - Ben Morris for Worldcraft * Information * This level is my firs work for Quake II. Main concept of this level is that it must be *rotating*. I mean that rotation of compass's hands tell you that whole level is rotating. But when I did rotation of sky, I met one difficulty. When I wrote in map properties, that I want make the rotating sky, in game (after full compilation) sky was squished, like if there wasn't brush. I spent more time fixed it, but my attempts was failed. Only, that I got is rotating sky on Y or X axis, but not Z. Therefore, I stopped on static sky :(. If you know main evil in this problem, please, let me know how can I reduce it. So, if you want to get my primary idea, you can tell from console ("~") "sky space1 3". In this case all will perfect... In all my levels you'll see Vondur (my) logo "V". * Installation * Unzip svartur.zip in your quake2/baseq2/maps directory. In the game press "~" and enter "map svartur" Enjoy! * Copyright / Permissions * You may distribute this level and include it in any deathmatch compilation etc., as long as you: 1. Include this text file untouched and give me credit. 2. E-mail me and let me know what you're doing with it. * Other * Let me know if you like this level (or if it sux). E-mail me in any case, and tell me your opinion. Thanx, Vondur
