Cernaan's position in the universe, is near the star system known to us as NGC 3209. This is roughly half way between Stroggos and another of the many planets currently under siege by Strogg, known as Morgulon. Located in an old chasm, a result of the ancient war, is the Relay Station. It's soul purpose is to relay DES communications to and from the many Stroggos outposts back to Strogg's mother planet and to provide a temporary storage facility. Without the Relay Station, the Strogg forces would be in a hell of a bind. ===================================================== * Your mission (should you choose to accept it) * ===================================================== Find a way to permanently Disable Strogg's 20 gigawatt Ku relay transmitter. Disrupt all comm links between Planet Morgulon and the Stroggos mother planet Comm Center. The 20 gigawatt transmitter relies completely on a single cooling system to keep the transmitter finals from achieving thermal runaway. Shutting down the cooling system during peak power operating conditions will result in catastrophic failure to the 20 Gig Ku transmitter finals, permanently disabling the relay station and cutting all communications to the planet Stroggos and (hopefully), crippling the Stroggos war effort. Good luck soldier ==================================================== * Construction * ==================================================== Base : New level from scratch.
