Hello fellow Quakers, (make sure your word wrap is on)

The following pak file ( named pak2.pak, you may have to change the number if you already have some other pak files ) contains modifcations to Quake's sounds .  The sounds are all taken from the Simpson's and are meant to add some humor to the game. We spent more time than we thought we would putting this file together ( we ended up going through 45 Meg. of Simpson's .wav files ) trying to make it as funny as possible.  We hope you enjoy the file and if you have any comments about it please post them to one of the bigger Quake pages ( i.e. stomped, blues, scary's etc. we don't want Fox tracking us down ;) ).  Hopefully you will enjoy the file enough to send it to a friend who will in turn send it to a friend who will in... well, you get the picture.  Then everyone playing Quake can spend a little more time laughing instead of pounding the keyboard in anger when they get killed (I have had to buy 3 new keyboards myself, jk).

Installation of Pak2.pak
1) Put it into your "Id1" directory
2) Make sure the file has the largest number, if you already have some pak files in your       directory.  The files should be numbered sequentially (i.e. 0,1,2,3 not 0,1,3,4,6)
3) Run Quake,  Quake reads all of the pak files (pak0... pak1... pak2 etc.) in your Id1       directory and overwrites the previous pak file's information if there is something new in    the current pak file that it is reading.
