Description of the Program
--------------------------
QSpawn is a small front end for id Software's Quake. It is designed 
to be a 'single view' launcher for Quake stand-alone, Quake client 
and server, and Quake dedicaded servers.

Features Include:
*Able to use most executables, such as regular Quake, WinQuake, 
Q95.bat, GLQuake, VQuake, VQ95.bat, QuakeWorld client, and the 
GLQuakeWorld client as its launch program.
*auto detect of Modification directories, maps, and script files
*display of map names in the selection box (registered only)
*Quake and Win/GL/V Quake memory options
*Player name and color selection
*play Demos
*delete Mods, Maps, Scripts, and Demos.
*mutiplayer hosting and connecting options
*mutiple disable functions
*4 savable configurations (9 registered)
*notes field to store your own comments (registered only)
*launch confirmation in Quake command-line or plain English

How to Install the Program
--------------------------

UnZIP the QSpawn .zip file and run the Setup program. This will do several 
things:
- Place a QSpawn icon off of the Start/Programs menu
- create an Uninstall log in the Program directory
- create an Uninstall entry in Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs

If you encounter an error during the installation process, simply download 
the QSpawn Upgrade and the support files from the Files page at the QSpawn 
Home.

How to Uninstall the Program
----------------------------

1. From inside QSpawn, select Help/Delete Registry Entries
2. Exit QSpawn
3. From Control Panel, run Add/Remove Programs and select to remove QSpawn

QSpawn is written in Visual Basic 5.

This is my first publicly available Windows program. I am currently 
a Network Administrator, but I am really getting into programming.


Registering QSpawn
------------------

QSpawn is shareware. You may use QSpawn indefinatly with only the loss of 
only a few features. Registering QSpawn only costs $5 for the lifetime of
QSpawn. To register QSpawn, e-mail CrushBug for more details.
