( such as doom palette ) ///////CHANGES\\\\\\\ ********Currently game version is 1.0 so heres what we have so far: + NEw LEVELS ( 2 EPISODES DONE ) + Many new MONSTERS + Many NEW ART + Doom Environment (At least trying to..) + Some very well designed doom levels (At least I hope I did...) + Step sounds. + Mini bosses of normal bosses. + Challenging gameplay. + Different Selection Sounds for each weapon in the game. + INVULNERABILITY (replaces steroids). + TIME CONTROL (replaces night vision. Though it slows you down as well, it reduces the accuracy of your enemies) + NEW HUD!!! Has an armor icon which shows your armor amount, a status image which tells how your face looks like and keycard display. TO DO LIST FOR NEXT VERSION v1.1 - Convert almost all of the *necessary* textures of Duke nukem to Doom palette. - Make Mini-boss battles (Not the already existing mini-bosses) - Try to enhance maps.(Yes this one must be done!!) For now I've finished enhancing first level. If everybody is ok with it. Well I admit I'm not the best mapper ever... - Try to finish at least 3 maps of Episode 3. - Change the cheat codes. Also these codes will be learnt during the game by finding nearly impossible to find secrets or miniboss rewards! - Make units drop some useful stuff. (Keycards etc.) ****///// HOW TO RUN \\\\\**** Simply extract all the files to your duke3d =====> Atomic Edition <==== folder. Also you will need the latest eduke32 snapshot which can be found at http://eduke32.com . To run, just double click on hellduke.bat and press any key as it will tell to you, and enjoy. If game has some errors or anything like that try extracting CON files of grp by using Dukeres or Kextract. **** Also, please download OpenAl because some of the musics are in ogg format. Try google'ing it and you'll find it. (Can't remember the website right now.) ****---- GAMEPLAY ----**** Still the same but it's going to be much better on next version. There may be some strange bugs with textures that doesn't show up right, I know I will fix them just help me notice them by mailing them to me. Also maps aren't so large for now and full of detail. I'll try to enhance them to next version if possible. There's also a strange bug with swimming in water and using googles.
