Title          -> Lo Wang 3D - Atomic Edition (v1.64)
Filename       -> WANG3D.GRP
Author -> Paul J. Smith a.k.a. Wally Waffles
Email Address  -> WallyWaffles@yahoo.com

Misc. Info -> I leave for Germany tomorrow.
Description -> This is normal Duke except that all the Duke Talk has been
replaced by Wang Speak! I tried to replace the Duke art
with Wang art but that just didn't go well: Lo Wang is
almost twice as big as Duke ("Lo Wang need extra large!")
and so his head would stick into the ceiling, and his sides
into the walls. I tried fixing the game code so that he'd
be scaled down more, but that just caused the "tiny hands".
And I can't scale down the art itself because I can't get
EDITART to properly open BMP/PCX images that have been
tainted by Windows programs >:( (Half-sizing in editart
was much too small.) Tiles000.art includes a few new power
ups, and Tiles009 & Tiles012.art replace some screen stuff.
Here are what changes I made to the game code (aside from
                  sound changes):
+Bonus Health: a beating heart that increases health above
                   maximum
+Bonus Armor: an atomic shield that minutely increases your
                   armor
+Expander Sprite! Now you can pick one up without having to
                   get the shrinker (Hint: blimp)
+Blimp is now hitscanned when respawned
                  +Increased SWEARFREQUENCY to 250
+Grey Troopers (pal 12 & 18) may become invisible. They
can also shoot a variety of different weapons and they're
                   tougher too.
+Grey Pigs (pal 12 & 18) will shoot Expander instead of
                   shotgun!
+Monsters with pal 3, 4 or 18 will respawn as partially
                   invisible
+A fake nuke button (tile 116) can be used instead of a
                   boss to end the episode
+New "little" versions of all ammos (except FIRSTGUN AMMO)
+Random Power-up gives random ammo, health, or shield
+Jibbed actor sounds now apply to robots
                  +Max stretch now 255
                  +Tripbomb mode is 1: transluscence
+Tipped Dancers now have S.B.E. mode
+Atomic Health tells you your fortune!
+You are the shadow warrior when on steroids! You're black
and 75% translucent. Your vision is a bit clouded by the
smoke bomb, but night vision goggles make up for this ;)
+And a bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now...
Installing Wang3D will copy the Shadow Warrior RTS file off
of the CD. Custom RTS files can be downloaded from my
website, including Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem, Redneck
                  Rampage, and Blood.

Also, I've gone through the whole game and modified the
levels, just in the way of giving the Shadow Warrior some
compitition (except for most of Episode 4--I can't get
around to that yet). In episode 1, I've added the newer
weapons, and in episodes 2 & 3 I've added the Expander or
ammo for it. They're well hidden, and keep an eye out for
some new secrets (some of which may be multi-player only).

REVISION HISTORY

October 22, 1997:
*Replaced the Steroids art tile with SW's smoke bomb (actually it's the
flash bomb--I thought it looked better)
   *Included SW.RTS in the installaion
October 27, 1997:
   *Moved "That's no ordinary Wang" from a GET_WEAPON sound to a GET_HOLOWANG
sound. (75% probability of WANG SPEECH when getting HoloWang.)
*Spliced the together three certain similar sounds from Shadow Warrior to
replace the whistling sound at the end of the second episode cut scene!
*Replaced "Order game now, so Lo Wang can kick more ass!" with
"Wooda!"-Whoosh as EXITMENU sound. (Me mum is around too much.)
   *Fixed/combined toughgalspeech with tipspeech.
September 18, 1998:
*Debugged and compacted the batch file. I've learned a few new tricks...
November 14, 1998:
*Cleaned up the getweapon sounds; cut some speech that didn't belong
   *Cut out unused actors
*Cut "ancient chinese secret" from the shrine on WangE1L3.map. Interfered
    with the shrine speech
*Reduced amount of C-9 in Space Dojo to 1/8th; desyncronized too easily
*Added backed-up file restoration option to uninstallation
November 24, 1998:
*Fixed up levels from Episode 2 and one from Episode 3 (Stadium)
   *Made some replacement cinemas
*Made "shadow mode" a little less dim
July 20, 1999:
*Added LOFISH.VOC to shark jib sounds
*Enhanced levels from Episode 3, and partially enhanced E4L10 (the Queen)
(still sucky Duke Tag--one of these days I wan't to fix it up to being an
    actual DukeMatch level)
