Thank you, for downloading my Duke Nukem 3D map, ring.map. This map is for Duke Nukem 3D Version, 1.3D. (It should work with Higher versions though.) There are two items you should have gotten in this zip file, this text file, ring.txt, and the actual map, ring.map. This map, was pretty much designed for Duke Match play, however I included some enemies, for fun in one player mode..there is no nuke button, so the level cannot be ended, however, in single play mode, there is a boss character, and that is how the level is conquered. For new users- Copy the O.map file, into your duke nukem 3d directory and at the dos prompt, type, duke3d -map ring.map, and run it, or, go into the duke setup, go to the 'choose user level' option, and choose ring.map, and run duke. Map name- ring.map Author- Adam Dugan (my second map) Game version- 1.3D One player difficulty- Alterable settings, but challenging. Multiple difficulty settings- Yes Duke Match enabled- Yes (designed toward this) Co-op enabled- Yes Weapons and items available- All except the Freeze ray..'cause it sucks. Known Bugs- Well..I don't think there are any...but if ya' find some, delete the map, find me, and shoot me. Return E-mail address- none...but you can find me, at #duke3d on irc.. (undernet) ALL the time, I am known there as 'Fazonk'. **Extra comments- I designed this level, on a 486DX2 66 Mhz with 16 megabytes of ram. (almost the minimal requirements for duke nukem.) However, I designed it FOR Pentium class systems, in some places on my 486, the frame rate gets down to 2 frames per second!! :( This map is kind of large, and is great for open combat, hiding in shadows, or behind pilars. This is my second real attempt at level designing, it was a long slow process of learning Build, and actually making the level. I attempted to design this level, as realistic as I possibly could...but it's still just a game..;)
