================================================================ Title : The Trouble With Transporters Filename : TROUBLE.ZIP Author : John N. Daily (Water puzzle by Ralph Terry: cobra29@ix.netcom.com) Email Address : daily@capital.net Previous Work : Tons of Wolf, SOD and Doom stuff...nothing worthwhile for Duke, though - until NOW!!! :) Description : This was my first real .MAP for Duke3d and, although I've been working on several new, more intricate maps the past couple months, I played this one for kicks today and was surprised at how fun it actually was! *happy grin* So, I added a few more minor details and decided to upload it for your approval. I also *love* the beginning "water puzzle" (which was created by Ralph Terry - email address above) because, although you can probably beat it by just blasting your way through it, there is a much easier way that takes advantage of a BUILD quirk (email me if you're curious). The middle of the game is a bit tricky, too...you might want to map it out (although the design is very simple once you see it!). Time To Build : 10-15 Hours Additional Credits to : Ralph Terry for helping me test drive this puppy. Brett Gmoser, whose .maps (included in his excellent FAQ) I lifted sections from and then changed them to fit this map. Just so I don't get flamed for this, remember, I was learning how things worked then. ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Yes!!!
