Uploaded by RL (super_shotgun35@yahoo.com) THE STORY SO FAR!!... You bought the amazing new 3-D shooter from Id called DOOM and you very much enjoy it. Now you downloaded this Doom level to see what it's like. You change to your DOOM directory and, wiping the sweat form your eyes and hoping desperately that your frail heart can take it, you start the game! (Not very creative but you have to admit the fictional Doom stories are pretty freakin' lame.) ================================================================ Title : Skull Filename : SKULL.WAD Author : Rob Morton Email Address : misterbaby@aol.com Misc. Author Info : My inseam measures 32 inches and once, when I was in grade school, I ate some paste. Description : My first attempt at creating a Doom level and I think it turned out well. Additional Credits to : Eric Sheir who suggested the teleporter and lift (both hidden as secrets) to help improve Deathmatch play and Harry Reimer for playtesting it with me. And of course Id and the DEU creators. ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : E2M1 (First level in Shores of Hell) Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes. Co-op is fun but key retrieval after dying can become annoying (just as it can in any level with keys!) Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes! Quite a blast! Difficulty Settings : Yes. UV is very challenging. Try without saving! New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : I recorded one but decided the demo files are too big and nobody really wants to watch me play anyway. E-mail and I'll send one if you want. * Construction * Base : New level from scratch baby! Time spent: : Let's not discuss it. (Probably around 80 hours because I was misusing BSP at first (TMP.WAD!). I spent a lot of unnecessary hours fixing glitches!) Editor(s) used : DEU 5.1 and 5.2 and BSP 1.0 (godsend) Known Bugs : None I hope. E-mail if you find one. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may use this level as a base to build additional levels. In fact, you may do whatever you want with this file. See if I care. Just give me a percentage if you make millions with it. Oh, and if you want to stick it in a big wad pack, please send me a copy of the pack. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: America Online That's all for me! Thanks for trying it out and I'd love it if you found time to E-mail me and tell me what you think of this wad file. Also, I'm always looking for Deathmatch partners in the New York City area {(212) and (718)}.
