================================================================ Title : KortYard.WAD Date Completed : September 28, 1996 Author : Edward E. "Doc" Brown Email Address : ebrown@pacifier.com Description : This is a wad with a design that really appeals to me and was basically a test of some game concepts that I wanted to see used in a single wad. Comments This is not a non-stop blast-a-thon but instead specializes in subtlety, high playability, and cool design rather than in hordes of enemies. Although this is a completely new and original wad, its design was influenced by an excellent wad titled 11FortK2.Wad. Unfortunately, I've never found a text file for that wad and do not know who its author is. If you are the author of 11FortK2.Wad or know who s/he is, please email me. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may use this level as a base to build additional levels, as long as you mention my name. You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: THE ftp site for DOOMers everywhere... ftp.cdrom.com or possibly any of the mirror sites. BBS numbers: Any GOOD bbs. :-) Other: This is my first published Doom II wad that was not based upon my earlier Doom I levels. The layout is basically a large square that contains 4 separate buildings, an outer yard, and an inner court yard. Enemies are patrolling all of these areas and door keys are reasonably well hidden. The exit is also prety well hidden... and protected! :-) Constructive criticism, adult conversation, or emailed wads appreciated... mindless snivels/whining > devs:null ;-) Anyone wanting to participate in creating a new Doom II level is especially encouraged to reply via email. Most of all... ENJOY! Coming attractions... nothing in mind for now but perhaps soon.
