Uploaded by RL (super_shotgun35@yahoo.com) ============================================================================== Title : The Mine Filename(s) : MINE.WAD Updated Text File : 4-7-97 Completion Date : 3-20-96 Release Date : 10-25-96 Author : Matthew Wegner Email Address : mwegner@nco.northfield.mn.us Misc. Author Info : I've made some other Deathmatch levels, but this was my real one-player level. It took me some time to complete, and I never really released it to the public (except for my friends) I've also made a few Duke3D levels (the only completed one being The Cavern, which isn't that great a level, but then again it was first (and only) generation, so hey. I'm also thinking of spending time building Quake levels, after dinking around a bit. If I ever get the time, look forward to a sequel to the Mine. Description : A stage based on an abandoned mine of some sort. I guess the old plot of monsters invading the mine would work, but it's a damn fine level. I've moved on to other things, but every now and then I play this level just to remind me how good DOOM can be. Additional Credits to : My friends for input in design. Makers of all the programs I used to make this. And from wherever I got the music. ============================================================================== * Play Information * Game Type (Doom / Doom2): Doom 2 Episode and Level # : Level 01 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes, but never tasted for gameplay Deathmatch 2-4 Player : I suppose, but it's kind of big.
