Plays very differently and is much higher quality. Editor(s) used : DCK 3.2, Zennode, RMB Note: At one point in developing the level, I started getting "savegame buffer overruns" when I tried to save the game (meaning the game would crash instantly when I tried to save). I removed some things until the problem seems to be fixed. If you do have this problem and you're running the game under Windows 95, try launching it from the shortcut I've included in this zip file. Just copy the "Dark Mountain" shortcut and DARKMTN.WAD to your heretic folder, then double-click on the shortcut. The shortcut is setup to run the wad in skill level 4, so if you want a different skill level, edit the shortcut to change the skill level number (right-click the shortcut, select properties, click the program tab, then change the number at the end of the line in the "cmd line" edit box. I've also included a batch file if you're running the game from DOS. Just copy DARMMTN.BAT and DARKMTN.WAD to your Heretic directory, then type DARKMTN. To play a different skill level, just edit the batch file and change "-skill 4" to whatever you want. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
