=========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : Update "The Descent" Update to : The Descent Advanced engine needed : zdoom Primary purpose : Single play =========================================================================== Title : The Descent Filename : descent Release date : 20/6/2015 Author : The Architect Email Address : thespidersrepublic@hotmail.com Other Files By Author : Dregmere Dam, Archaeologists Nightmare, The Canyon Misc. Author Info : https://soundcloud.com/psllbof Description : 10 Map hub for Hexen. A serpent-infested complex reveals portals to various hells. The player must find a way to close the portals for good. Aiming for fairly quick time between sections, for a slightly faster pace than original Hexen. I've managed to learn a bit about scripting and have included some cross-map triggers, building platforms out of lava, earthquakes, ambient sounds, traps and flavor descriptions. Also making use of custom music and the "fade" function. Additional Credits to : Music by Glenn Stafford (Warcraft II), Kenji Yamamoto (Super Metroid) and Nobuo Uematsu (FFVII) =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 10 Sounds : No Music : Yes Graphics : No Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : No Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : Hexen Map # : 10 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Yes * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : 1 Week Editor(s) used : Doom Builder 2, Slade 3 Tested With : zdoom * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse.
