The last time I made a level it was eight years ago for a game called LodeRunner. See for yourself if it's any good. It has a central room with a big cross placed in a lavabath. The central room is surrounded by four corriders with a small room on each corner. The level has teleports, all weapons, ammo, some health and no secrets. Camping at good weapons isn't possible because you can be attacked from at least three sides. I think this level is a simple seek & destroy type of level. Other Info : Please let me know what you think of this level. Maybe I'll make some more levels but I've noticed it takes a lot of time. Maybe I'll make some new textures with Photoshop. bas@earthling.net Install notes : To install this level, create a sub-directory under your ID1 directory called MAPS (i.e. C:\QUAKE\ID1\MAPS). Copy the ALTARMAD.BSP file to this directory. Only one bit out of 32Mb might have been wrong, but that's bad enough. It takes LOT of time, errors and irritation to find out it's one of your SIMMs who's lying about one bit. Bugs : Yep, it might give some (error?) messages after loading, something like "total_channels == max_channels". I don't know where it comes from but the level plays ok.
