Name: The Cargo Hulk for STORM - Harb!ngeR, V-2.0 Author: Benjamin "The Harb!ngeR of Fish" Martyn Skinner Email : harbinger@storm-1.freeserve.co.uk Spec: This level was designed for the STORM mod for Quake, but it runs great in normal quake too. .Bsp name: CARGOSHP.BSP Mission: This is a two tiered cargo hulk, centred around two medium sized cargo storage areas, connected by three tunnels on different levels. There are also two small side rooms, a computer centre and a chapel. In SP mode, you must clear the ship of monsters that have escaped from their cages in the cargo rooms... Secrets: There's a secret door that leads to a seperate command complex, containing possibly the longest, fastest and most scary lift ever made in Quake. This complex contains an operations room, which has triggers for several very dangerous traps scattered around the main level. Each trap button has an indicator above it that will glow red if any player or bot is in range to be hit by a trap. (Hint: Playing the game in SP mode will start you in the cockpit, and the door will open to let you out, but you cannot reenter unless you find the switch) Level info: This level was originally designed for standard Quake, but then we made the STORM mod, and I couldn't resist reworking this old effort specially for this excelent Mod. In the process of reworking I added a new trap, some fiend's pentagrams, and various quibbles with the level were fixed. ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ Trap Stats: When you find the control room, you'll have access to the following evil devices! Trap 1 - The computer room trap. Players will find it hard to escape while the floor splits under them in this confined space, dumping them into lava that will melt them into small piles of floating goo. Trap 2 - The twin cargo room crushers. Players beware! When this is activated, those giant blocks on the ceiling will drop like stones to pound you into submission Trap 3 - The church trap. Be wary of feeling comforted by this delightful chapel, as a cloud of spikes and lasers will end your happiness and your life! Trap 4 - The corridor trap. Just a normal corridor, right? Wrong! The exits will close, and a second later you'll find yourself very, very flat, and to top it all off, I won't even tell you where this one is!
