Disk Space Required : ZORDM1 - 592k ZORDM2 - 765k Author : Zorilla (Mike Lundy) Email Address : mikelundy@aol.com (Please excuse the AOL...) Misc. Author Info : Previously a DOOM level maker, now screwing around with Quake. Something to note: most Quake maps found on ftp.cdrom.com suck. And, like, these don't. http://members.aol.com/mikelundy/ (again, excuse the AOL :)) Other Patches by Author : These are some of my old DOOM patches: Grab That Throat (Computer Deathmatch for DOOM II) Houses 1.4 (Level Pack) Silhouettes of Phobos (Level Pack) Cruel Hell (Single Level) Upcoming by Author : Probably not much. The farmer tan needs to go :) Credits : Ben Morris for Worldcraft 1.5b Id Software for Quake and map building tools I credit anything else to the authors of the software, WAD, etc., that I happened to have used. *--------------------------------------------------------------* * Play Information * Game : Quake Single Player : Sure, take a look-see before playing them. Cooperative : No, unless you like respawning in the same place and wondering why nobody has any frags. Deathmatch : Yup. This is a DM level, right? * Construction * Base : From Scratch Main Editor(s) used : Worldcraft 1.1, 1.5b Build Time : zordm1: 3 days first version, 2 days updating zordm2: 7 days first version, 2 days updating Known Bugs : None. Future Improvements : This should be it. * Installation * Unzip this into your C:\QUAKE\ID1\MAPS directory. Run Quake and pull down the console. Type MAP ZORDM1 for Fortress of Sins or MAP ZORDM2 for Silicon Santuary. * Troubleshooting * Problem: Ok, these levels are great and all, but where can I run them? Solution: Hopefully, I can get a couple QuakeWorld servers running these levels. I did it with an older version of these levels before. The one's most likely to run them are: Gibster's Hut (Maryland) and TooL BoX (North Carolina) Both located on the id DM master server. * Copyright / Permissions * Do what you want with this, but there's no MAP file. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: ftp.cdrom.com BBS numbers: None. BBS's exist still? :) Other: Straight off a QuakeWorld server if there's one running it.
