WHAT THE !#$!# IS IT?: Xenia Onatopp (Goldeneye N-64) Skin for Quake 2 FILES: Xenia.pcx (the skin) Xenia_i.pcx (the little face picture used for Identification) INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these two files into q2\base2\female\ and your all set! (its really easy) AUTHOR: Pedro a.k.a. the Big Dog CREDITS: Paint Shop Pro 4 WORD FROM THE "AUTHOR" : (Don't worry, you don't have to read this) Alrighty then, finally the humble Pedro makes his big mark on the world of the internet (yeah right) Anyhow, I played Goldeneye on N-64 a lot, so I decided to try and make some skins based on the characters from that game. This is the first in what may be many of the characters (maybe used in extreme content, more like, "when hell freezes over" or equivalent). Here it is, a skin for the character Xenia Onatopp (that russian chick with the strong legs for those of you who don't know) as seen in the game Goldeneye for the N-64 (well, its almost the same, this one has shoulder pads) As far as the quality goes, I can say that this was a very easy skin to make (namely cus she wears so much plain black) and it didn't really take me that long (except for the arm guard thingies and the colar of her shirt). For the "_i" file I used a pic I had of the movie (it might not look that good but remember it is 32X32 and I had to find something that looked decent) I used Paint Shop Pro 4 to do this. comments or criticisms? Send them to biteme@whocares.com (hehe) just kidding, if you really have anything to say about my "work" (positive or otherwise) you can contact me (Pedro) at the following address: pedro1@uclink4.berkeley.edu That's right folks, some guy from CAL did this (GO BEARS!), what did you expect with all the weed around there anyway? If you make skins and have any suggestions about how to overcome the distortion involved with the representation of a 3D skin in a 2D PCX file, PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!
