Gratitude : Andy Smith, for that wonderous utility; Jer Sypult, for those endless GL shots I had him take (I don't have 3dfx), as well as all the assistance and advice in that area; Hobbit, for doing the final compiling on his p2-266/64. I'm satisfied with the map, considering the computer I used to design it is barely able to play the game it was made for. Also, due to horrible framerate (sorry), unless you either have a good computer (p200+) or a 3dfx card, it'll be rather slow. This is only my first Q2 map, cut me some slack. Huge thanks to The Element Clan [http://www.razoredge.net/element/] for beta-testing. _______________________________________________________________________ - Installation - Unzip Conduit.bsp to quake2\baseq2\maps. Create a maps directory off of baseq2 if neccessary. Run Quake2, hit ~ and type in: map conduit You can also use Dos Prompt with this command line: quake2 +map conduit _______________________________________________________________________ - Copyright / Permissions - Unknown to most, it is said that John Carmack seeks a rather "ghoulish" revenge on those who try to take advantage of id. Stories of people found burried behind id HQ, others "disappearing," never to be seen again... Oh yes, the story is deeper than you know... The Bottom Line: Play the map and be happy... When id wants you to make free money off of them, they'll call you. © 1998 David Kelvin Quake2® is a registered trademark of Idsoftware, Inc.
