Thundermug Email Address : SwBthumper@aol.com Description : This level is set on a moon of Jupiter, close enough to reflect the giant planets' redish-orange atmoshpere.. This is The fourth level in the Outland series- i'm working backwards for quake II. Expect 'The Outland' soon.... This level is dark and moody intentionally.. All the weapons are there. I know the BFG is easy to get, but I tried to skimp on the ammo to off-set this. The super shotgun is my favorite quake and q2 weapon, so this will obviously be the most common.. Power-ups are also freely given, because I find this makes for intense situations.. :) I won't be so forgiving in future maps.... Story The colony on Callisto has been attacked by a mysterious alien race... The only thing known about them, is that their goal is Earth... These 'beings' have not only begun their attack by using Jupiters hostile atmosphere against the moon, and colonists, but have deviously planted a virus to infect the inhabitants themselves- This virus causing the humans on Callisto to turn on themselves. You must fight against your own kind, and you MUST survive to warn Earth.... Though the lives of your friends and fellow soldiers are in peril, you must do what you have to for the sake of many billions... Will you survive marine? I spent hrs fixing these the best I could. I apologize anyway... Oh yeah, and one brush seem I just couldn't erase, no matter what I did... Unzip into the quake2\baseq2\maps directory (create if necessary). Launch Quake 2 deathmatch, go to the console and type: map callisto And don't breath in too much of the toxic atmosphere....... * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY take brushes out of the MAP file and use them in their levels.
